Tayna Chessman founded SoCal Doulas in Winchester, Riverside County. This is not a county we serve from a distance — it's home. Our doulas have attended births at every major Riverside County hospital, know the nursing teams, understand the systems, and give families genuinely informed guidance about where and how to deliver.
Riverside County is one of the fastest-growing counties in California — and one of the best-covered for insurance. IEHP is the dominant Medi-Cal managed care plan here. Kaiser Permanente serves tens of thousands of families. Both plans cover doula services, and most families don't know it.
"We don't just serve Riverside County — we live here. When you work with SoCal Doulas in the Inland Empire, you're working with a team that knows your hospitals, your roads, and your community."
