Meet Your Doulas
Founder of SoCal Doulas | Birth & Postpartum Doula | Midwife, LM, CPM Doula Trainer with ProDoula
Tayna
Hi, I’m Tayna, founder of SoCal Doulas (formerly Inland Empire Doulas), a Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, and a Licensed Midwife in the state of California. I’m also a graduate of the National College of Midwifery. Since 2019, I’ve had the honor of supporting families through one of life’s most transformative seasons—helping them find calm, confidence, and connection in the moments that matter most.
My passion is creating a space where families feel truly seen, supported, and cared for—whether that’s guiding a birthing parent through labor, helping new parents find their rhythm during postpartum recovery, or offering overnight newborn care so everyone can rest and heal. I believe every birth story deserves respect, tenderness, and evidence-based support that’s tailored to each family’s unique needs.
As a ProDoula trainer, I also have the privilege of mentoring the next generation of doulas sharing practical skills, compassion, and professionalism that elevate this work and strengthen our communities. My midwifery background gives me a deep understanding of both the physical and emotional landscape of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, allowing me to support families with insight and empathy.
Through SoCal Doulas, I’ve built a collective of dedicated doulas who share my belief that families thrive when they are cared for with intention and heart. Together, we’re here to nurture, educate, and empower so every family can begin their journey feeling supported, confident, and deeply cared for.

I went into nursing school
I went into nursing school imagining it would be about connection—being present with mothers during one of the most important times of their lives. But during clinicals, I realized how much of hospital care was focused on tasks, charts, and protocols, and I felt called to something more personal. That path led me to doula work, where I get to truly be with families—offering continuous, hands-on, and emotional support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I blend my clinical background with a grounded, nurturing presence so families feel both informed and deeply cared for. Supporting this transition into parenthood is not just my work—it’s something I feel deeply honored to be part of.
